Making sure everyone gets home safe after a good days work should be the bedrock for every organisation. When people feel safe and healthy, they are also more likely to be productive at work.

Oue health and safety team have spent years as SHE professionals in various parts of the world and firmly believe that taking care of people’s health and safety at work is critical, and of course it goes without saying that reducing the impact a business has on the environment should also be a top priority for today and future generations. We will work with every apprentice to help them grow into a fully fledged SHE professional focussing on helping you to:

  • Protect people from injury or illness, including both physical and mental health. By completing risk assessment and then developing & embedding effective health and safety procedures, your SHE apprentice can help to prevent accidents and injuries, and protect your teams from exposure to harmful substances or environments
  • Improve productivity by creating an effective safety culture. When people feel safe and healthy, they are more likely to be productive at work. This is because they are less likely to be absent from work due to illness or injury, and they are more likely to be focused and motivated when they are at work
  • Reduce costs. Accidents and injuries can be costly for businesses. In addition to the direct costs of medical treatment and lost productivity, there are also indirect costs, such as the cost of legal fees and reputational damage. By conducting robust accident oir incident investigations and then developing, implementing and monitoring health and safety procedures, we will support your SHE apprentice to help reduce these costs
  • Comply with the law. We wil help your SHE apprentice to develop an indepth understanding of current SHE legislation and use this to help you take steps to protect the health and safety of your employees, avoid legal penalties and ensure you are are operating in a safe and legal manner
  • Create a positive work environment. When a workplace is safe and healthy, it is also a more positive and productive environment. Employees are more likely to be happy and engaged when they feel safe and secure, and your SHE apprentice will complete projects to help with this too.

Wellbeing and mental health is discussed every day across the UK. The damage organisations are causing to our environment is discussed every day. Accidents and incidents are also discussed every day. If you want the in-house capability to identify and manage the health, safety and environmental risks to your business, then having a SHE apprentice is a no-brainer. We can enhance your people’s skills and capabilities in a variety of ways that will, in turn, enhance the performance of your organisation.

We provide a dedicated point of contact for every client and their apprentices who is there to deal with any queries and answer any questions. We also provide apprentices and their managers with monthly progress reports and access to a progress dashboard to ensure every apprentice stays on track and gets the best from their level 3 SHE Technician apprenticeship.

Level 3 Award in Business Processes

This unit provides learners with an understanding of the business processes and information security requirements to support IT operations, and the IT skills and services that support business operations. The primary role of an Infrastructure Technician is to provide support to internal and external customers, helping them to be productive when using technology to do their own jobs, by using tools to problem solve and troubleshoot non-routine problems. The Infrastructure Technician sets people up on systems and provides support when they need it, rectifying issues to maintain the organisation’s productivity. Upon completion, learners studying this unit will have gained the knowledge to support the competencies of an Infrastructure Technician.

 – Support the implementation of the business strategy for IT functions within the organisation

 – Apply and promote security requirements to IT as designated by the organisation’s SOPs

 – Prioritise support to business systems based on the business strategy and SOPs

 – Communicate technical knowledge to provide first line support to the organisation.
