So where does the name come from? We've been asked many times, so we thought we'd let you all know.  Finding a memorable company name that genuinely means something is hard. We were originally called pbLearning - the vocational training arm of our parent consultancy company www.pitchblue.co.uk, but we wanted something a bit different, a bit more fun, a bit more engaging.

The hunt began.

After many months of searching, one of our team was on a business trip to the Nordics and heard the word bragd. It was used in a very positive way caught our imagination. When we researched the word, we found out it has both Swedish and Norwegian origins.  In Norwegian Bragd means 'feat', and in Swedish Bragd has various meanings, including 'accomplishment', 'performance' and 'achievement'. This sat so well with our DNA and our values, that we decided Bragd (pronounced bragged) was the name for us.

We hope you like our name; we're really proud of it.
